Frequently Asked Questions

Who are we?

We are a local community pool that has been open every year since 1965. It is owned by its members and run by an all-volunteer board elected by the Shareholders (members).

NO! We are not a part of any Homeowner’s Association (HOA). Our By-Laws state that we must have 50% of our membership come from within a 5-mile radius centered around the pool. However, we welcome everyone who would like to join. Regular season rates would apply.

A Shareholder is a person who has decided to make an investment into the pool of a one-time cost of $200. Becoming a Shareholder gains the member voting rights at the Annual Shareholders meeting and an annual discount on the Membership (this discount is agreed upon at the Annual Shareholder’s Meeting). Shareholders are still responsible for the annual membership dues. 

Absolutely! The guest fee is $10 per person per day. Each Membership (not member) is limited to 5 guests per day. Guests from out of state are free.

If your child is interested in just joining the swim team and nothing else, we offer a “Swim Team Only” Membership for $150 for the season which allows them access to the pool during practice, meets, and swim team events as well as registration for the season.

Yes. It is a wide and varied menu consisting of Hot Food (Chicken Nuggets, Personal Pizza, Mozzarella Sticks, Drinks, Ice Cream, Chips, Candy, Soft Pretzels and much more. We also have specialty items on the weekends from time to time (Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Subs, Chili Cheese Fries, etc.). 

Do you offer daily passes?

Unfortunately, no, however members are always welcome to bring a friend for a fee! We are a member-based pool. It is one cost for the entire year. Our ‘year’ runs from May 1st to Apr 30th. Our swimming season is Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. However, the community room and grounds are available to rent year-round.

Absolutely! The guest fee is $10 per person per day. Each Membership (not member) is limited to 5 guests per day. Guests from out of state are free. 

Yes. We have several types of rentals available. We have two 30-person slots available during regular pool hours. Should you have your party at that time you will be sharing with the general membership.  We also offer after-hours rentals. The hours are generally from 7pm – 10pm but can be adjusted for an earlier time. All parties must end by 10pm to adhere to neighborhood quite hours.

We do! We have several events each season that are open to the public. Teen Nights, Adult Nights, Bingo, Movie Nights, and certain holidays. We post these via our social media channels, newsletters, and websites.

You must be at least 18 years old to hold a single membership. Exceptions are those individuals that are employed by the pool as Lifeguards.

Children must be 12 years of age by Memorial Day to check themselves into the pool without an adult present.

(If their 12th birthday is in the middle of the season, they would become eligible on that date). 

They must also pass a swim test administered by the Lifeguard. 

The swim test requirements are:

Jump feet-first into water deeper than your head, level off, and begin swimming.
Swim 25 meters (one length of the pool) in a strong manner using one or more of the following strokes: sidestroke, breaststroke, trudgen, freestyle or crawl (no dog-paddle).
Swim 25 yards using an easy, resting backstroke.
After completing the swim, rest by floating (Typically, for up to one minute).
